Valea

Valea is a residential community by Saudi Group Developments in the heart of Old Sheikh Zayed, right in front of Smart Village, positioned on the Cairo–Alex Desert Road with easy access to major roads and key destinations. The project is built around a people-first concept: a pedestrian-only center inspired by the “woonerf” approach—traffic-calmed shared streets that prioritize pedestrians and cyclists. Valea features a high proportion of landscaped green areas combined with water features and fountains, connected by internal walkways and running/jogging tracks. Sustainability and energy efficiency are a core theme, supported by architectural simulation aimed at reducing annual energy consumption, alongside practical design strategies such as insulation, air circulation, and sunlight optimization to stay warm in winter and cool in summer. The masterplan includes a clubhouse, kids area, cycling track, jogging/running tracks, padel (sports courts), a mosque, underground parking, and an on-site commercial area, all delivered in an urban minimal architectural language and an overall urban design in harmony with nature.
